One-Dish Meals American Baked

1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1 cup tomato juice
3/4 cup oat meal
1 egg
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients and mix lightly. Press into 4 x 8 inch loaf pan. Bake one hour or until juice runs clear. Drain and let stand 5 minutes before cutting.
Makes 6 servings.
