Delicious sauce for cheesecake or ice cream
15 mins
1 Pint fresh strawberries
1/4 Cup white sugar
2 Tablespoons water
1/2 Teaspoon balsamic vinegar (optional)
1 Teaspoon corn starch
Combine first 4 ingredients and simmer over medium heat
Simmer 15 minutes
Whisk water and cornstarch together and add to strawberry mixture stirring constantly
Puree in blender until smooth
