“You can have more fun with a flower behind your ear, a Mai Tai in your hand, and good friends.” – Trader Vic
Place ingredients into a shaker filled with crushed or bagged ice, and shake as hard as you can for 10 seconds to wake up the ingredients.
Pour the contents of the shaker into a tall glass and top with ice.
Garnish with the half of spent lime (the island) and a large sprig of slapped fresh mint (the palm tree).
Drink with a straw and on a hot day the ice will gradually melt and increase the dilution nicely.
