One-Dish Meals American Grilled

1 pound beef, 1 inch cubes
1 medium onion. chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons ginger
Combine all ingredients except beef in plastic bag and mix well. Add cubed beef and refrigerate at least two hours or overnight. Turn meat one or two times to cover all sides with marinade. Thread beef onto skewers and grill on charcoal grill.
