Daily tasks are to plan, organize and implement the marketing initiatives to drive internal and external communications functions. Team initiatives include the design and development of client-facing and internal websites, social media, technical conferences, trade shows, social event hospitality, video presentations, email marketing and more.
Before Geosyntec, as Creative Director for Marketworks from 2001-2007, Bobby led an award-winning design team in the creation and extension of compelling brands for ecommerce. His core clients were retailers expanding into multiple online sales channels such as Amazon, eBay, Google Product Search, Shopping.com, Overstock, ecommerce websites, and international marketplaces. Large client work included global brands such as Toshiba, HP, Vodafone, evian, 3M; although the majority of clients were small and medium sized retailers who sought out Bobby's expert team to get started or get sales growing.
In 2007, Marketworks was acquired by a competitor: ChannelAdvisor. Bobby served as Director of Creative Services for the combined global companies until, in 2009, Bobby successfully transitioned the creative services division of ChannelAdvisor to a preferred partner program. Shortly thereafter, Bobby was recruited by Geosyntec to lead the company’s digital marketing initiatives.
Bobby’s background is in the Liberal Arts. He received his Master of Arts in Aesthetics from Florida State University in 1995 and completed the coursework for his second Master’s in Philosophy of Language from Georgia State University. After nearly a decade as a professor teaching numerous instances of eleven different college courses, he was recruited to create an industry-leading online design studio.
