Fettuccini Alfredo

Callie perfected our Alfredo sauce. It’s rich and creamy and perfect over pasta.

Ingredients

2 sticks of butter

4 tbsp flour

2.5 cups milk

2 cups grated Parmaggiano-Reggiano or Pecorino Romana cheese

1 lb fettuccini

Directions

Melt butter in a pan with the flour and cook on medium low for five minutes. Add milk and bring barely to a boil. Add cheese and serve immediately.

It’s great over homemade pasta with grilled or sautéed chicken. Add fresh cracked pepper to give it a kick!
